The Peach Pit ladies are back! It was officially confirmed on Monday, Oct. 7, that Tori Spellingand Jennie Garth would be reuniting on TV, and Spelling couldn't be more excited to get back on set with her former Beverly Hills, 90210costar. The mother of four tells Us Weekly their new ABC Family pilot Mystery Girls will be a comedic change for the close friends, and will also give their kids a chance to have a few play dates.
"[The show] was just the perfect vehicle for me and Jennie. I just thought it would be a great thing for us to do together," the 40-year-old actress explained to Us at the Starburst Candy Corn event at Illuminate Studios in Studio City, Calif. on Oct. 9. "We're starring in it together and we're both producing it and it'll be a lot of fun!"
The pilot was created by Spelling, and follows the story of Holly (Spelling) and Charlie (Garth) as former cast mates on a popular '90s crime TV series that are brought back to their detective game years later.
